Throughout his life and career, Tony Adamo has always put the needs of others first. A Former US Army Artillery Officer and Captain, he has spent the last 30 years advancing the financial security of individuals, families, and business owners. While he thrives in a vast array of financial disciplines, he specializes in helping families manage a financial plan that incorporates investment risk management, retirement and income planning, legacy planning, incapacity planning and more.

Partnering with his business colleague and longtime friend, Christopher Ritacca, Tony helped found Wealth Advisors Who Care in 2018. As Partner and Wealth Management Advisor, he draws on his years of experience working at leading firms, including TIAA, Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Dreyfus, Fifth Third Securities, and others. While utilizing his institutional experience and perspective, he delivers the personalized attention and service only a boutique firm can provide.

Tony first started investing at the young age of 22, then a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army. He quickly experienced the value of watching his money grow by applying the principles of dollar-cost-averaging. From his first moment in the market to today, he has been committed to providing people with the guidance to grow their wealth and confidently pursue their financial goals.

Tony earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University and currently holds his Series 63 & 66 securities registrations, along with his Life, Health & Variable Annuity insurance licenses.

Tony earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies®, the standards-setting body for Fi360. The AIF designation signifies specialized knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care. The designation is the culmination of a rigorous training program, which includes a comprehensive, closed-book final examination under the supervision of a proctor, and agreement to abide by the Center’s Code of Ethics and Conduct Standards. On an ongoing basis, completion of continuing education and adherence to the Code of Ethics and Conduct Standards are required to maintain the AIF designation.

Originally from New York, Tony currently lives in Palm Harbor, Florida, with his wife, Debra Brown-Adamo. They enjoy their blended family of seven adult children. Actively involved in the community and charitable organizations, Tony is a former advocate for Big Brothers Big Sisters and a past member of the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce. A sponsor of the Tampa Chapter of "Heroes on The Water". Member of the Military Officers of America Association (MOAA) - Clearwater, Fl chapter.

Outside of the office, he looks forward to golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
